Nature and architecture in harmonyVisitor experience
Bebenhausen Monastery was founded by monks at the edge of Schönbuch, a broad area of forest. To this day, this is part of its special charm. The filigree architecture of the Cistercians mingles with the living culture of the kings of Württemberg, touchingly human and close.
Bebenhausen is always lovely, whether in spring, when the wild garlic flowers, or in summer, when the walls of the cloister offer shade. In fall, it is easy to remember the glorious history of royal hunts. And of course in winter, the monastery is peaceful and the woods covered in snow.
